Finland is one of those countries which has no natural caves. When divers want to explore what is goig on underground, they venture in lime mines. Ojamo lime mine is situated in Lohja, some 60 kilometers west from Helsinki. The conditions for diving are excellent all year round.

Evacuation of Hanko is a documentary on naval warfare in the Gulf of Finland. The time of the story isWinter war November-December 1941, when Russian convoys evacuate 28 000 soldiers from Hanko to Leningrad to defend the city against the Germans.
We follow four Russian warships and one submarine and their crews who disappear into the depths of the Gulf of Finland. Our diving team, which specialises in underwater photography, visits the wrecks 70 years after the incidents.
The first found wrecks and dives to them have already changed the way history about them is written. Now the wrecks will tell their sad and true story. In high definition video, unlike seen before.
Stay tuned for more information about the project.
